~A shot in the dark~
A shot in the dark rings out,
Another soul set free.
Does anyone really hear the shot,
As the gun begins its nightly forever feed.
Walking on the edge in the city today,
Is not what it seems, the shot penetrates the,
Flesh it’s the bullets only need.
The warriors of today will settle the score,
Without acting as men, the simplest way,
Today is to pull the trigger again.
Too many innocent people today lie forever,
Covered in dirt, maybe the gun makers should,
Be shot at birth. a twelve year old child with no life,
Set into his eyes is one to look out for as the,
Revolver begins to rise.
What of all the people who never ask for a bullet,
In their heads, I bet their not happy and hating there dead..
