~Fallen through the grains of time~
~Fallen through the grains of time~
Watching my face lose youths grace,
Seeing the lines form there sunken place.
Caught up within the grains of time,
Wisdom stains stamped upon my mind.
My hand growing hard to hold,
Not to mention the pain runs bold.
The hair on my face turns to gray,
The illusion of life washes off my days.
Time moves faster than the speed of life,
Life starts to unravel in the grains of time.
The roses take on a fresh familiar smell,
Understanding I am emptying out to Hell.
My soul feels the days that I have wasted,
My soul understands the evils I have tasted.
Feeling the weight left by father time,
Knowing all the right words to make a rhyme.
My days suddenly seem to be numbered,
Many of day have been lost to life s slumber.
Feeling the marks that I carved on the world,
Knowing my wife will be my only girl.
Feeling the force of gravity at work,
Trying to mark sure I am not a jerk.
