    ~Deep within the sands~

    When sorrow has become your soul mate,

    And fate comes with empty hands,

    What is right is always wrong,

    And life is lost deep within the sands.

    Unlocking a door you should not pass through,

    Everything that you touch fades,

    Wishing of hopeful words,

    As I sit here lost in a daze.

    Today unwinds the fears I thought were gone,

    I can no longer love you any longer,

    While you’re the notes in another s love song all I say is always wrong!

    Needing to unravel my thoughts that twist within me inside,

    I need to learn how to UN love and experience,

    What life is and continue my ride.

    The day comes alive the sun reaches out her rays,

    The coldness creeps upon me,

    And makes me long for lost days.

    All seems so unreal the future is like the past,

    Caught in a rerun seen that comes.

    At me way too fast.

    The colors of my life that once were all you did,

    Have suddenly faded,

    As I ponder on you thinking within.

    I have lost the key that unlocks your heart,

    Trapped in a unjust ghostly seen,

    The only thing for certain is,

    This is not a beautiful dream!

    This is so well written, the feelings seep in like water on the sand. The sense of loss so strong it reverberates throughout this piece...
