My Incomplet Wedding
Looking in the mirror as I got ready
For the happiest day
of my life I saw
Her face as she smiled
Her dark hair dusted with gray and her eyes seem
Older some how
Last I saw her
She was still younger looking
Her eyes so full of life yet to come
Oh, how I missed her that day
And my younger siblings
So sourly missed and yet
As hard as I tried to hold back tears
Sure to mess the beauty on my face
They would not stay
While I looked at my husband
Standing beside me
All the world seemed at peace
For a brief moment
A kiss
Turn to our friends and family
Smiles and applause
Hugs and best wishes
As the sunsets
Pictures and talk
It's a happy day yet I hurt inside
For the family that just couldn't come
As well as family I never had a chance to meet
And the friends that couldn't come
Its just so incomplet
