Life Times
It's been so long since I've seen him
My creator
The vampire who made me
I've been waiting here on the balcony
Simply waiting for him
It's been and hour
But what is an hour compared to a life time
We've been apart
My heart aces without him
I feel a presence behind me
He spins me to him
He's hand takes mine
The other goes to my waist
And he smiles at me
My mouth is a gape
In surprise
Tears swell in my eyes
My heart beat speeds up
I know this will only last for one life time
For we can not let people think we are anything but human
We send one life time together
And four apart
Making sure as generations past
They don't notice our ageless bodies
He kisses my forehead
We treasure our time together
The wind blows the curtains out
We stand still listening to each other breath
It's something we long for
In our years apart
We go around to see old vampire friends
And make new human friends
As we go through another life time
This time together
