    Poem Commentary

    i forget what made me write this....but i like it

    Around me

     i can feel a stabbing in my heart
    while it beats and feel
    the blood running down my arm
    the water of the river turning read
    around me
    i came to rid myself of me
    and all the love i feel
    around me
    and as i stand knee deep in bloody water
    i hear the hate of those
    around me
    there is a fear from far
    there is love from a distance
    and i can see those who actually care standing
    around me
    their eyes filled with sadness for me
    and i felt the pain that i put them through
    looking up i see
    the man i live for
    with his arms
    around me
    and i smile for that which i saw
    mere moments ago
    was just a dream
    wrapped
    around me
