    i wrote this to my mother about my stepfather....not the nicest man i've know....

    Mom
    yes, he raised me...
    but he was no father
    he couldn't love me...
    mom, why'd you keep that from us...
    we looked so happy two years ago
    look what's become of this
    once peaceful family portrait
    why can't we be happy again
    why did he leave us here
    mom, i wish you'd stand up for us
    i may be grown
    but my siblings need their mother...
    mom, please don't leave them
    with
    HIM...

    yeah, I resemble that. My step/adoptive father belongs underneath the jailhouse!
