My Hero
I sit by the way side
Watching a family lose themselves
And I watch as my Hero fights to keep it together
He's giving his time, his life to save his mother
From a addiction
I can do nothing but watch as
The eagles fly away
I stand up and comfort him
This hero that no one hears
I along am a calm for him
As we watch them all fly away
I whisper my love to him
As he breaks down from this
Emotional, mental and physical pain
This dead end family puts him through
My hero fights an losing battle
To get this family to see
How he need the help of them
He let go the wings of his eagle
And he watches as it flies away
With me by his side
Tyring as I can to help him
In this dark hour
My hero still fights
Holding on to the end
Knowing no help will come
But I stand by him
And ask for him to let me be his hero
He takes my hand and we go together to
Help the women who gave him life
His sad smile looks to me
As I try to kiss away his pain
He tells me it's okay
He doesn't care as long as I'm here
I tell him I'll stand by him forever
He swears he'll aways be mine
I pull him in my arms and whisper
My love for him
I tell him he's my hero
