Lullabye
The day is gone, the stars shine brightIt's time for us to say good night
So go to your room and get in your bed
Clear all thoughts from your sleepy head
Pull the blankets up to your chin
I will be there to tuck you in
Kiss your forehead and touch your face
And let you go to your happy place
Where flowers bloom all year round
And all you hear is soothing sounds
Where the babbling brook carries the stream
And you drift away into your dreams
I'll lay with you as you slip away
And forget about your stressful day
I'll hold you close and play with your hair
And whisper to you that I'll always be there
I'll let you rest your head on me
And listen to my heart beat
I'll keep you there through the night
Until the sun is shining bright
You wake up ready for another day
And all the stress has gone away
Until once again day turns to night
And I'll sing to you another lullabye
