When I think about the years before
When I cried myself to sleep at night
I think of how I watched the door
And prayed for only one sight
I prayed and wished to see you there
But you never came in

My life was falling apart so fast
I couldn't deal with the rain
I didn't want my life to last

Maybe I would find the strength

Your soul so strong I was surprised
