Loved
In the dark,The silky sweep of inky heat
Rises.
In mirage-like wisps of heated air
Misshapen visions waver and undulate.
A sheen of sweat,
Light and clingy,
Coats the willing flesh.
Rough cords bind trembling wrists
Against silken sheets.
Softness suffocates.
Bind! Bruise! Blister!
Pain blooms, a blossom in the dark,
Crimson petals of crisp air,
Diaphanous,
Bending with the wind's will.
In the dark,
Desire is free,
Freeing is desire.
Like dark colors swirling into a pool of water,
I merge with the dark,
A single point of light,
Bound and cocooned...
Loved.
