    I Can Be No One Else

     I can be no one else.
    I could change my hair, my walk,
    even the way I talk, but still I am the same.
    You refuse to see me, but I am still the same,
    I can be no one else.
    Trust me I've tried, but my soul does not lie.
    I can be no one else.
    I thought it was you, who needed to accept me,
    take it or leave it.
    But it was I that needed to see,
    all that I can do is live and be me.
    I can be no one else.
