Don't judge me
Don't judge me!You don't know my story.
I've lived through tragedy, lived in poverty, and pain.
I'm only human, I've made plenty of mistakes.
I've walked a path you could never travel.
I've held it together when most would unravel.
Don't assume you know me, when you never knew my past.
Don't judge my present without studying my history,
because that's one test you will never pass.
Don't judge me!
You can't see the scars I carry on my soul.
You don't know that I am broken,
even though I appear to be whole.
Who are you to pass judgement on me?
Are your skeletons buried, Is your own closet clean?
