Edge of Storm
How I love the open windows
Do not like it when they're closed
Love the fresh breeze
Swift as it flows
Across my face
Cool and sweet it blows
My eyes drink
Lush green with
Purple pops
Clouds drift in
And fill the spots
Where sky was clear
Crisp and blue
Grey now gathers
Changes view
A low and distant rumble
Leaves me feeling humble
Excited at the thought
Of the first unyielding drops
I feel it now approaching
Closer now, I feel it closing
In and all around
I can hear the sound
Of thick anticipation
In the general vibration
Of all that is found
Between sky and ground
Awaiting the arrival
Of that which means survival
Drops of Life
Liquid Existence
The light is concealed
And it begins with
An insistence
A persistance
Green and purple
Intensify in color
The dimmer the light
The louder the thunder
The lusher the depth
I see in the colors
A spectacular cleansing
A release of Nature
A sweet Earth bath
Rejuvenation through saturation
And the trees all feel refreshed
All the stones are once anew
The soil sighs for it is quenched
The sky keeps changing view
The thunder claps, rolls and rumbles
Pops, snaps, growls and grumbles
The vibration causes
Shakes and quakes
Feel the power
When it breaks
The atmosphere
In deep low rumble
Takes the air
And makes it crumble
Into sound
All around
Raindrops abound
The air recharged
Electrified
The Planet drinks
Satisfied
And life expands
And multiplies
All that slumbers
Will arise
To see the world
With fresh new eyes
