’84 Super Glide, Candy Apple Red
The scenery is flashing past my eyes
as I descend upon the open road.
Familiar rumbling starts to harmonize;
a thousand bikes as one, and on we rode.
The racing ground just inches from my face,
our presence seems to call the wind to life.
This freedom now seems tangible to chase;
we leave behind all kinds of pain and strife
to ride in thunderstorms of engines proud;
we swim in leather oceans unafraid.
There are no strangers here in our close crowd,
the colors on our backs will never fade.
Our motto stands for more than what you see.
It’s followed to the core: Live Hard, Die Free.
