And racist murder gets you publicity and pity,
In a world where your late night calls are assailed,
And big brother can shoot without trial or committee,

In a world where religion breeds hate and greed,
And children are abused by their parents and friends,
In a world where women are taught you have no right to bleed,
And you are just here to achieve but not receive corporate ends,

In a world where we pass by the hurt and dirty,
And most crime is the victims fault,
In a world where we change the meaning of liberty,
And laws are said to be taken with a grain of salt,

In a world full of hate and violence,
I feel there’s no time to recompense.
