For the Hometown Heroes
Thank god for a hometown hero
Thank god for that volenteer
Thank god for the little no one
Who's willing to spread the love
For that woman who makes carepackets
For the man who's willing to use a hammer
For the stranger on the street
Who's willing to give you their last dollar.
To the kid who picks up trash
To the family man who donates to Good Will
To the Big Brother and Big Sister
Who're mentoring lonely kids.
Thank god for random stranger
Thank god for the family friend
Thank god for the adverage person
Who's willing to lend a hand.
For the PTA mom saving the day
For the person just willing to listen
For the old woman making blankets
Who'll hand deliver then to the homeless
Thank god for the hometown heroes
For the Adverage Joe,
To the caring soul
Who're giving endless, selflessly so
