    Words Hurt

     Little words;
    Yes,
    No,
    So.
    Larger words;
    Loved,
    Hated,
    Ignored.
    Even the largest of words;
    Impaled,
    Mis-leading,
    Narsissistic...
    Aren't always for the best.
    Words are words,
    Actions are actions,
    Fights are fights.
    Nothing can change that.
    But saying.....
    That words can't hurt.....
    Isn't quite true.
    That's like saying.....
    That someone's alive,
    When they're dead.
    Saying that you've never lied in your life,
    When you lie every day.
    It's like saying,
    That words can't hurt.
    Because words can hurt.
    That will never change.
    Words are powerful.
    And I hope that someday,
    You'll realize that.
