    War Of Life

    I am a warrior.

    I don't know why,
    But I feel like
    I have to be.

    My life has been turned
    Upside-down,
    And the world as I know it
    Is spinning on its head.

    I've changed so much
    Over the past few years,
    My life is the opposite
    Of what it used to be.

    I can scream
    Without crying,
    I can smile
    Without sighing.

    The waves of the water
    Serve as a haven
    To my life.

    I can hold in my cries
    And my sobs
    Without having to use
    All of my might.

    I can fight for myself,
    I don't need anyone
    To fight for me.

    I can fight my own battles,
    I will win this war.

    But...

    If I don't...

    Then the war is not meant
    To be won.
