When Love Remembers When
We used to love to go for walksTo see the changing of the leaves
The crispness of the mountain air
With a gently blowing breeze
I'd put my arms around you
And hold you close to me
I'd gently kiss your pleading lips
The way love was meant to be
I still get those old time feelings
That I used to get back then
They fill my mind with memories
When love remembers when
I recall the way you'd laugh
At the silly things I'd say
And tease me over and over
In a gentle form of play
Those days seem so distant now
No more than shadows from the past
Of days that were filled with tender love
That was never meant to last
But I still get those feelings
That I used to get back then
Of the times we shared together
When love remembers when
