The Cowboy Way
Out on the prairieWhere the tall grass grows
Lives the loneliest cowboy
The world has ever known
He lives from his saddle
And sweats by his brow
Mending old fences
Mile after mile
He labors all day
Under a blistering sun
And stops to rest only
When the work is all done
His weather beaten face
And callous hardened hands
Show all the years of struggle
In an unforgiving land
No fortune he has
For the life he has layed
But the pride in his work
Thats the cowboy way
