Empty Soul
I scour this desolate landIn continuous search
For who I am
Ice clings to my beard
Like fossilized stalactites
From millenniums past
The fires of hell can not warm
One inch of this wretched soul
For no flame can penetrate
This broken carcass
That was once human
The howl of the north wind
Will be my lovers song
And loneliness will be
My constant companion
The fruits of life
I will taste no longer
For the bitter taste
Has made me ill
Forever I am destined
To walk the ages of time
Eternally damned
By the sins of my past
Until the master of death
Claims his right
