The Legend Of The Great White Wolf
Come young and oldCome gather around
Come sit by my fire
And don't make a sound
I will tell you a tale
I will tell you a story
Of the great white wolf
And all of his glory
He traveled alone
So the legend does say
He traveled at night
In search of his prey
It happened one night
As he roamed his domain
An indian child
The wolf did attain
She was lost in the woods
In three feet of snow
She was frightened and hungry
With no where to go
The wolf took great pity
On this trembling child
All cold and wet
And lost in the wild
So off through the woods
The wolf he did run
In search of some food
For this little one
Upon his return
The wolf he did bring
A morsel of food
For this little thing
Then offering his body
To keep the child warm
The wolf kept her safe
From the terrible storm
