    I wrote this for a friend 13 years ago. Sadly we lost contact with each other

    Friends

     You and I are so much alike
    So many things we share
    A warm hug, a friendly smile
    We give to show we care

    And though the distance between us
    May keep us far apart
    The miles dont seem so distant
    When were standing heart to heart
