    This poem was written for a very special young lady, who will always remain first in my heart.

    Remember My Heart

     I know that you've been hurtin'
    I feel your pain inside
    I know that you've been wonderin'
    If love has past you by

    You say you wanna love me
    But afraid to give your heart
    Well darlin' let me show you
    Where to start

    Just remember my heart
    Belongs to you forever
    Just remember my heart
    Is waiting now to always be together with you

    If you find you're all alone
    I'll be there to bring you home
    So remember now my love is true
    And will always be there for you

    When nights are getting lonely
    And your dreams just fade away
    I'll light the fire within your heart
    And drive the blues away

    I'll walk so close beside you
    To lend a helpin' hand
    You will know that you're my woman
    And I'm your man

    Just remember my heart

    Is waiting now to always be together with you

    When you find you're all alone

    thanks for the comment. the poem is actually a song. if you know the song "goodbye girl", by the band, bread. then you can also sing "remember my heart".
