    WHAT WOULD YOU DO
    What would you do if I stopped caring completely?
    would you try to make me care for you
    would you care for me even then
    would you forget me right away
    would you have something to say
    or would have me committed as going insane?

    What would you do if I just stopped talking forever?
    would you miss my voice calling you each day
    would you be more loving hoping something I say
    would you worry and stay awake at night
    would you even wonder why
    would you thank God with delight?

    What would you do if I was dying tonight?
    would you try to please me all day
    would you tell me how much you care
    would you attentively listen to everything I say
    would you pinch yourself wishing it was a nightmare
    or would you make plans for when I'm dead?
