SWEET SMELL OF DANGER
Floating in air like a goddessYour voice takes me into a cloudless heaven.
Stand but my feet go numb longing for you.
I tremble, listening quietly unable to say a word.
Your stare burns inside me like a forest fire.
I can't escape, even if I wanted to.
My soul starts burning with desire
feeling the danger, but wanting it.
My heart keeps fighting my mind,
making me remorseful yet happy.
I have tried running away from you,
but my feet become numb again
I become cold, start freezing.
Before I manage to escape,
you come finding me almost dead.
You then warm me up with a hug.
Embracing as if you're trapping me.
Once again you enslave me,
wrapping me in your dark wings,
pleasuring me with your kiss.
An imaginary kiss I crave,
but don't dare allow it.
You hold my hand,
owning me--
possesing every part of me.
You kill me with your stare--
feeling naked before you
scared, but loving it...
Its too hard to hide sentiments.
You read me as an unread book
enjoying every new part you learn
anticipating what comes next.
Closing my eyes, all I see is you,
Smiling with pleasure I bite my lip
suddenly noticing you staring at me.
You devour me with your eyes.
I get scared, but wish you would.
With you its like playing with fire,
but knowing that if I get burned,
the ashes will keep burning forever.
It will be a never ending story of desire,
a continuation of a game that never ends.
Or who knows?, a movie of romance and love?
