Victory of Daniel The Prophet
Daniel was wise man in the days of old and was appointed as Prince of Princes,Appointed by King Darius was a noble call to be in charge of all the empires provinces.
But because of the brilliance that Prince Daniel obtained,
he found favor in King's darius eyes and was renamed,
Belteshazzar was given as the title for a prince,
The special gifts possessed by Daniel all the kingdom was convinced.
Jealous wisemen in the Kingdom became traitors and desired,
Daniel's position so great hatred they inspired,
They encouraged King Darius to issue unjust decrees and laws,
To make Prince Daniel guilty and face the lions jaws.
So daniel was thrown to feed the lions now and was not afraid of their roars,
He chose to pray to the God of heaven he adored.
He would not bow to images of the King,
So the jealous wisemen could see Daniel to his God praying,
They were furious and showed the king what he was doing,
So this beloved prince of Babylon was in the lions den thrown,
This prophet of God who was very well known.
he slept overnight in a den so cold and dark for hours,
the stench so overpowering, but he they did not devour.
The King regretted that He had thrown a man of God to be slain,
To the vicious lions so Daniel's prayers were not in vain,
He prayed for deliverance from this unjust decree,
and was restored to friends and family.
the wisemen and traitors cried for mercy as they died,
They were thrown in the lions dungeons and begged as they cried
