Two Hawks
It was a mid-March two-hawk day
A gale-force wind with backdrop gray
The two-stick kite
was jerked and tossed
The red-tail hawks both
stayed aloft
Through countless trials
with frozen hands
We launched our kite
It crashed again
Perhaps we'll learn
to fly kites high
by watching hawks
Glide in the sky
