    November Rain

     November rain falls on frozen ground

    First frost left shriveled blossoms

    While expectant children

    Watched out windows

    For winter's lazy flakes

    To cover fallen leaves

    and dried brown earth.

    November teaches patience

    And prepares all

    For winter's stark solitude.

    This is lovely, I have one not posted about the lull between fall and winter, maybe I will post it... anyway, this is beautiful and it describes so well the feelings of the coming cold...
