    Poem Commentary

    This is Part 4 of my series. It is a vivid picture of inside the maniacs thought process. It is my favorite of the series and I hope everyone enjoys this thrill ride of emotions that takes place from within this mans head. It is a battle between what the man wants to be ( or was ) to what he has become.

    I love feed back so let me know what you think
    I try the best I can to become a better poet each and every day
    But I cant do that without a little help from others
    I hope you enjoy reading this piece as much as I enjoyed writing it.

    The Maniac Part 4
    "The Man Within"

    ....Kill her....
    What?...Who Said that?
    ...Kill her...You know you want to...

    "He looks down and sees a young woman laying in a bed fast asleep
    He doesn't know where he is or how he got there"

    No...I don't want to kill her

    ...Yes you do...
    ...Slit her throat while she's still asleep...

    Why are you telling me to do this?

    ...Better yet...
    ...Run your knife across the center of her chest...
    ...So when she sits up her guts will spill in her lap!...

    Oh my god! NO! I don't want to!

    ...Oh but you do John...

    How do you know my name!

    ...Such a stupid question to ask yourself John...
    ...I...
    ...am...
    ..you...

    No!...You are a monster!
    I am a doctor! I help people! Not kill them!

    ...Don't dwell on the past John...

    What...?

    ...We have been friends for a long time you and I...
    ...Very good friends...
    ...We've killed together John...

    NO!..NO!....Never!

    ...Why can't you remember me John...
    ...Don't you remember when we killed all those people?...
    ...Or maybe that security guard...
    ...Or when...
    ...We killed Mother!...
    ...Do you remember killing Mother John!...

    "Memories of blood and gore flood into his head like a tsunami!
    Followed by a Gust of sorrow filled with screams of torture and pain!"

    "He then slowly raises his head revealing a wicked smile
    You can tell he is holding back the urge to laugh
    as he says"

    oh the story thickens. I did enjoy this part. Hmmmm maybe I shall sleep with one eye open from now on. excellent write once again. 10 from me

    So now we know his name... looks like he's definitely a maniac. This was the best part so far. Left you in suspense, and then the cliffhanger...AH!
