    "Restless" Dedcated to her memory

    "Restless"

    Time has my soul
    And it's ripping it in half!

    You had my heart
    But you turned it into glass!

    A Shattering pain
    Across my chest
    Left my mind cold and alone
    ...Restless...

    You left me restless!
    ...Tattered and torn...

    You left me restless!
    ...Broken and sore...

    You left me restless!
    ...To cope with this alone...

    You left me restless!
    ...I wish you weren't gone...

    Faith gave me hope and a reason!
    ...Until the day that you died...

    I watched your life fade!
    ...With a glimmer in your eye...

    My heart withered away
    ...As I layed their and cried...

    If their really was a god!
    ...Then why am I alive...

    ...Dedicated to her memory...

    this feels honest and reads well....it doesn't try too hard ( like i do, sometimes lol ) it states it purpose as it moves and flows.

    Wow. This is very powerful. This is one of my favorites that ive read of yours. It is amazing how you are still so moved by her memory. Definately a 10 from me :)

    This poem is EXCELLENT! The rhymn and rhtymn are perfect. And you make very good use of the metaphor. It is so difficult for us when we lose someone dear to us, however, I take comfort in the fact that God has a purpose for everything in our life. A 10 from me
