"The Thief"
"The Thief"
The eyes of the young thief look away in embarrassment as he is grabbed by the arm.
"Why do you try and steal from me?"
The wealthy merchant asks?
The young boy apparently mad from hunger jerks and thrashes trying to escape.
The merchant repeats.
"Why do you try and steal from me?"
The little boy quickly responds in a weak raspy voice.
"I have no money and my little sister is dying from hunger!"
The merchant struck by a sense of grief lets go of the boy as he pulls away with the bag of gold....
..Soon after..
..As the little boy is running home to his rich family..
..He thinks to himself..
