MY LIFE JACKETS
MY LIFE JACKETS
I watched the day you left the womb
you have never been alone
Many letters from above
I send to guide you home
I knew you had the knowledge
to live the wisdom through
The strength to push through mountains
as I was pulling you
You walked your journey in the dark
my message ALWAYS there
Without my light you had no sight
to detect what I had shared
Living in consistent fear
an evil kept you bound
I continued throwing life jackets
when you felt that you would drown
I fed you, bathed you, mended wounds
I cried with no despair
Asking child once again
to leave what I can bear
I wore your shoes until the day
that you could walk again
I breathed life into your futile soul
when your earthly breath would end
I read your letters sent above
I knew you needed me
I did reply not deny
my words you could not see
Remember being in the dark
you had no where to turn
You cried "Dear Jesus help me
I feel this time I'll learn"
I pulled you from the darkness
held you in my arms
Whispered in your ear
you're safe from all the harm
You stood up to the evil
rebuked the greatest lie
When evil broke the Trinity
you chose not to comply
You felt my Father not in fear
tho, saddened by the thought
That my Father was denied
now reap what you have sought
