KALEIDOSCOPE
KALEIDOSCOPE
The color of brillance
the flesh covered soul
The world is divided
by rage and control
The LORD gave us image
Filled it with thought
Colored us different
diversity was sought
He granted us life
built us a home
Meadows and lakes
this beauty we're shown
He gave us the freedom
to make our own choice
To coward to others
or strengthen our voice
He gave us a will
with each goes a face
Colored with pride
destroyed by all race
Imagine the world
if all were the same
The color was gray
"IT" was our name
Imagine the boredom
the teachings we'd lack
No fantasy dreams
all matter of fact
Indifference is needed
it makes our mind seek
The person within
that makes us unique
It takes a strong person
to back their beliefs
Who never backs down
to bigots and thieves
Be proud of yourself
yet never too proud
to drop to your knees
to thank GOD out loud
Destroying GOD'S vision
with all he intends
Blinded by color
the loss of a friend
Imagine the world
if all were the same
Neither woman nor man
all one just to blame
Would that be the answer
perfection defined
no one is unique
nor one of a kind
No one with dreams
nothing to learn
Loss of all love
lack of concern
Born just to die
no in between
What in our world
would all of this mean
All of GOD'S colors
shows us away
Gives us direction
not written in gray
INSPIRED BY THE LORD
