KARMA 'S DEFINITION: PAY BACKS ARE A BITCH


A drunk man speaks a sober mans thoughts
with little common sense
repressing feelings throughout life
it hinders intelligence

He patents his denial
for big boys never cry
The tear a sign of weakness
he'd sooner choose to die

Silence was his refuge
better seen then heard
His bruises always mended
forever scarred by words

His daily walk on egg shells
created endless fear
He felt the need to cry
tho, never sheds a tear

He started life with innocence
soft hearted and naive
His love was unconditional
he trust what he's perceived

Survival was his teacher
his instincts well in tune
each day this boy is hardened
he meets defeat too soon

His introduction to alcohol
an answer to his prayers
that day he found his way
to release the years he's bear-ed

He didn't cry  He whined
He didn't talk  He screamed
He never hid one day again
He always made a scene

He deserved his instant cure
he lived his hell on earth
he was dealt a life
he feels was cursed from birth

Little did he know
his hell had just begun
alcohol was now survival
he lost what once was fun

This drunk man speaks all his thoughts
he feels makes perfect sense
releasing repressed feelings
that spoke pure ignorance

The moral to this story
is treat your child well
he will repeat your patterns
pay backs straight from hell
