ARE YOU LIVING IN LOVE OR DYING IN LUST
ARE YOU LIVING IN LOVE OR DYING IN LUST
Love is not one's possession
nor is it used for pain
Love is not a given
it lacks the need to blame
Love has no conditions
if morals are instilled
Love needs no restrictions
and zero overkill
A heart cannot be broken
if held in steady hands
Hands cannot be shaken
if the heart first understands
Love is not a constant task
nor easily endured
When one feels they are silenced
while the other's always heard
Fifty percent of this whole
dealt now with restrictions
Their other half has shown
a love not unconditioned
The inventory of one's self
you must be self aware
chiseled vows of honesty
meet truth and be prepared
No rose colored glasses
sacrifice meets willing
Two opened minded hearts
whom believe in their own healing
Love and life have boundaries
they need the strength of trust
Love thrives on sheer honesty
if not it dies with lust
