My Dog the Cat
My dog thinks she’s a cat
If you don’t believe me
Well maybe you’ll believe that
Her favorite toy she chases through the house
And it isn’t a ball
It is a tiny little mouse
She is the queen of the couch
And the queen of the chair
Sitting and grooming her long silky hair
No dog food for her
Not in her dish
She wants to eat smelly tuna fish
To the vet we go
For a good health check
She sits like a beauty and purrs at the vet
Stop that he cries
You mustn’t do that
You are a dog you’re not a cat
Back home we go
She cant wait you see
Cause she wants to climb her favorite tree
And up there she sits
Watching the world go by
Purring softly at the birds in the sky
I’m sure you don’t believe
Yes I am sure of that
See for yourself my dog thinks she is a cat
