    Poem Commentary

Just one - of the many faces of LOVE.

    LOVE

            LOVE

    Some times it is diminished
    when it is spoken...
             YET
When I say, I love you,
It is not that I see you.
    I do not know you,
    But I feel you.
    I recognize and enjoy
    Your mind at work.
    And I say...
    ...I Love You.
    Do you
    Understand?

Take all the bells and whistles away, strip it to the core, and this is what you have - emotion in it's purest form. Beautiful write - 10 from me

Hello my New Found Friend, One can really appreciate the intricacies you lay before us. To Love is so very complex. Well done.

Complicated or simple - that is the question.

Stryx, I feel subliminal love in this one. Maybe the stare from across the room..? I love the mystery and that you leave it up to the reader to decide. ginga

Ya know Stryx, you could also say that about someone you've lived with for 50 years, so I can't really say for sure that I understand, but I do "recognize & enjoy your mind at work".

Stryx, we don't really know anything or anybody because all we can perceive are only reflections of what's "out there". And even that is distorted by our biases & the limitations of our organs of perception

I hope you would know someone after 50 D.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
