    The intellectuals took a perfectly good and ancient sign representing Man, turned it upside down, which now means, Man Dies, and called it Peace - and WE accepted it. It is not flattering to those who did it, or to we who fawn over it.

    I wonder how many know...



    I wonder how many know
    that the single verticle line
    with a 45 degree angle lines
    looking like arms up reaching
    stands for MAN...

    Turn it upside down,
    it is the Peace Sign.
    While it actually stands for
    MAN DIES, 
    Peace.

    Like so many of the signs
    We  have misinterpreted -
    We have been duped
    yet once again.

    eYes... I had no idea about this symbol, but I also believe that some things in history, in number, have been 'misinterpreted'. :) Deep write.

    Not only in number, but in substance, our sacred beliefs have been turned upside down and served back to us as our beliefs.

    Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
