    Indian Summer

    Warm tempered passage,
    Autumn's reluctant reveal.
    Nocturnal cool weather,
    Illustrious color appeal,
    Northern exposed evenings.
    Glorious pre-Fall feel.

    September's special moment,
    Unprecedented time of year.
    Mums for all occasions.
    Mom's back to school cheer.
    Every day's a perfect pleasure.
    Refreshingly sunshine clear.

    Dramatic change of season,
    As days whither into night.
    Yearly foliage explosion,
    Spiritually uplifting sights.

    Yes! I love the autumn and the colors it brings. Sometimes it is the only restoration to my sadness at losing summer....10 from me.
