    Hear The People
    On one occasion,
    There came an invasion,
    Without preparation,
    On the People

    They squirmed in frustration,
    Cried of starvation,
    Damned the duration,
    Did the People.

    A once sovereign nation,
    Faced obliteration,
    "God save your creation,"
    Cried the People.

    There was then a sensation,
    Complete devastation,
    No more evasion,
    For the People.

    The Ninth Revelation,
    Einstein's equation,
    Ensured elimination,
    Beyond recreation,
    Hear the people!

    Hear the People?

    No more People.

    Hauntingly too real. The last line, no more people grips the reader tightly.

    Very good contrasts of cause and effect: an ultimate price to pay. I've written in this genre,"Catastrophic" and "Apocalypse" but not with the success you display here.

    Hello, first of all God did not want any destruction but it is in one people's decision. Why call on God to save? His immortal angels are saying something to those but they're busy for what to do with their plan... It's a very controversial issue.
