New Friends
I have a brand new friend,
Whose very hard to see.
She only comes out to play,
On my computer screen.
Sometimes I have to wait for her,
Or read her notes to me.
She's really quite peculiar,
A virtual curiosity.
She's just a Plano girl,
The kind guys like to meet.
She sounds kind of funny,
I bet she's really sweet.
She has two pointed ears,
Her nose is moist and black.
I like the way she smiles at me,
And says she'll be right back.
She has a cute pink collar,
That she always wears.
Her profile pic's adorable.
I love her short white hair.
Says she lives in Texas,
That's my mom's birth state.
I've always liked Texas women,
I think their accents great.
It's funny how you meet someone,
You've never known before.
All the sudden things sort of click,
You strike a mutual accord.
I like this new friend I've met,
She reminds me of my youth.
New friends are always good to have,
They're God's gift to me and you...
