    If Heaven Be A Rose

    If Heaven be a rose-
    an Angelic visual Utopia:
    here on earth
    we can but contemplate
    perpetual tranquility;
    escape from reality.

    Peace be an endeavor
    no more than a fleeting glance.
    Can we but hope
    to ever perceive
    the blessings of circumstance;
    accept life is a game of chance.

    Endless the roads we travel,
    by choices which we make.
    Serenity at journey's end;
    ambiance and peaceful rest;
    scented rose-
    have I passed my test?

    Nicely worded with smooth rhythm and a beautiful inspiring message. I agree that our path in life is determined by the choices that we make and if we strive to live a good life by helping others;we will find peaceful rest in a much better place at the journey's end.
