His Eyes
His Eyes
They were prob'ly brown
Just like most around
Not so different to behold
These eyes of my Savior, you see
But when there was just sin and shame
They saw potentiality
They looked through all my faults
And saw what I could be
I'm not a queen nor a President
I've never won a Nobel Prize
I'm just an ordinary girl
In the eyes of Man
But I'm worth dying for,
Dear Lord in your Eyes
Now Man will always see the bad
No mater what I do
And people always will criticize
But I'm so glad you know my heart
And what I'm going through
And I can still look up
And just see love in Your Eyes
They were prob'ly brown
Just like most around
Not so different to behold
....But I can still look up
And just see love in Your Eyes
They were prob'ly brown
Just like most around
Not so different to behold
These eyes of my Savior, you see
But when there was just sin and shame
They saw potentiality
They looked through all my faults
And saw what I could be
I'm not a queen nor a President
I've never won a Nobel Prize
I'm just an ordinary girl
In the eyes of Man
But I'm worth dying for,
Dear Lord in your Eyes
Now Man will always see the bad
No mater what I do
And people always will criticize
But I'm so glad you know my heart
And what I'm going through
And I can still look up
And just see love in Your Eyes
They were prob'ly brown
Just like most around
Not so different to behold
....But I can still look up
And just see love in Your Eyes
