"The Making Of A Classic"
The Making Of A ClassicLittle did I know...
lo and behold...
the path that I chose...
made the world so cold...
but without enlightenment...
I cannot grow...
and without entitlement...
I cannot flow.
I can be a tidal wave...
if I might show...
light to the souls...
while firing the coals...
because...
there's more to reaching your destination than admiring your goals.
I'm voting for a higher empire at the polls...
not the Lee Press On-upper echelon...I suppose...
makes me more multifaceted...a dodecagon wearing clothes...
overload...
there are no red hexagons in my overtones...
and no need to cry over spilled milk...
or broken bones...
because the numbers don't lie...
numbers expose.
A pentagon or a pentagram...
something you chose...
a telethon or a telegram...
money arose.
Hands open...
eyes closed...
for these non-musical notes that make the world go...
twist...
spin...
twirl...
on its axis.
Greenbacks root evils...
but black Jack's not making the black list.
We love warm flapjacks...
but we're naked and hapless...
we're locked in this struggle till we vacate the atlas...
circus freaks performing painstaking back flips...
circle those performers...
aim...
snap...
click...
snapshot of a nations pain...graphic
Explanations for disdain...the same...static
Last days' reign will remain...spastic...
Not for the sake of stating a claim...drastic...
but I am searching for the point when this reality became...
.
.
.
classic.
