STILL STANDING TALL
Where were you?
Where were you,
when our freedom was shaken?
Where were you,
when our innocence was taken?
Throughout it all,
this symbol stood tall.
Do you remember your fear on that day?
A fear that life as we knew it had gone away?
Where would the next attack hit?
How much worse could it get?
was this the end?
How many of your friends were sent to heaven,
on that fateful day known as 9/11?
Still throughout all the tears we cried,
our symbol of freedom stood with pride.
Within that flame of liberty,
shines our freedom,
For all to see.
