LOOKING OUT
LOOKING THROUGH THE GLASS I SEE,
I SEE THINGS THAT DIDN'T USED TO BE.
WHEN SEARCHING THE DARK I FIND,
SECRETS DEEP WITHIN MY MIND.
I TURN AROUND TO FIND I'M LOST.
HOPING TO GET OUT,
NO MATTER THE COST.
THROUGH THE DARK I SEARCH IN VAIN,
BUT THIS IS ALL DRIVING ME INSANE.
THEN LIGHT CREAPS INTO MY PRISON WALLS,
AND THEN I HEAR THE QUIET CALLS.
AT FIRST I'M AFRAID OF WHAT TO DO,
BUT THERE IS A HAND TO PULL ME THROUGH.
I SEE THINGS THAT DIDN'T USED TO BE.
WHEN SEARCHING THE DARK I FIND,
SECRETS DEEP WITHIN MY MIND.
I TURN AROUND TO FIND I'M LOST.
HOPING TO GET OUT,
NO MATTER THE COST.
THROUGH THE DARK I SEARCH IN VAIN,
BUT THIS IS ALL DRIVING ME INSANE.
THEN LIGHT CREAPS INTO MY PRISON WALLS,
AND THEN I HEAR THE QUIET CALLS.
AT FIRST I'M AFRAID OF WHAT TO DO,
BUT THERE IS A HAND TO PULL ME THROUGH.
