LOOKING GLASS
AS I ONCE AGAIN STAND FACING YOU,
AND LOOK YOU IN THE EYE.
DON'T EVEN GET EMOTIONAL,
I NO LONGER CARE IF YOU CRY.
YOUR LIFE IS JUST A LIE.
YOU TOLD EVERYONE YOU WERE FINE.
BUT I'M SICK AND TIRED,
OF THAT SAME OLD LINE.
WE BOTH KNOW THE REAL YOU MAY BE BURIED DEEP INSIDE.
BUT YOUR MASK IS SLIPPING,
YOU CAN NO LONGER HIDE.
DONT GET ANGRY, FOR THIS EMOTION SHALL PASS,
I SAY AS I TURN AWAY,
FROM THE LOOKING GLASS.
