PEDDLE FASTER
"You can do it!" were the words you whispered,
but, "Your going to fall" is what I heard.
Your patience as you steadied me,
by holding the seat.
Urging me to peddle faster with my feet.
The unbalance further enforced by my shaking arms,
I should have known you'd keep me from harm.
Imagine my surprise of glee,
When I was half way down the road,
before I realized you'd released me.
Your pride in my success shown in your eyes,
you'd always believed in me I suddenly realized.
